How to curl hair without heat?

And you can guarantee me if I do it prperly it won't look like crap.


If you don't know then how about a way of doing it with a hair dryer?





I don't have hot rollers,curlers or a curling iron..and my flat iron is crappy.

you can get any kind of hair gel or something and scrunch your hair...ha not sure if thats the way you want it though...
take a brush and wrap it around a strand of hair. as you do that hold the hair drier on that spot and hold it till its dry completely. then when your done, hair spray it. it should turn out good=]
wet your hair get a thin cylindrical brush then use hair spray then blow dry it but don't use a flat iron lol =)
I have soft curlers that I put in my hair before I go to bed (damp hair) and it looks great in the morning =]

or if your hair has a natural curl, when you get out of the shower brush your hair and part it, then with gel (yes, gel but not too much or it wll be gross) mix it on your hands and put the gel in the bottom of your hair, you might find it easier by putting your head upside down. then when its all mixed in put your head back up and brush your fingers through it once, and ';scrunch'; it (squeeze your hair together and lift the curls up closer to your head)


dont touch it too much or it will frizz


then when its dry you can straighten your bangs or something :]

You should go to walgreens and just get some rollers.


Right after you get out of the shower let your hair air dry for a couple of minutes then, put the rollers in. Sleep with them in and you will have natural looking curls in the morning!





You can also scrunch it. :)


Get your hair wet but not completley wet.


Then, put Tresemme mousse, FX curl defrizzer and deactivater, and Sunsilk beach waves spray throughout your hair. :)


When it all dries you'll have pretty perfectly curly hair.

Start from the bottom layer of hair on one side. Take a small section of hair.

1. Using a thin iron, clamp it at the bottom of your hair and slowly curl it upwards.


2. Hold it for about 5 or so seconds, and gently remove the straightener.





Method 2





1. Instead, take the section and lightly mist it with a flexible hairspray.


2. Place the flat iron about an inch away from your scalp. Twist the iron completely around and then pull it down toward the ends of your hair, while still twisting. It is important that as the iron keep moving down your hair you keep turning it around. This will create the same kind of effect you get when you use a scissor to curl the ends of a ribbon. Running it over your hair slowly will create a tighter curl; going quickly will create a looser curl or make it wavy.





# Do this to the bottom layer of your hair right around to the other side, then move up and go around until all of your hair is curled.

but you have to close the iron and twist it or twist your hair over the hair straightner,


and it differnet from the curling iron and those work wayyy better
well you need a reeaaalllyy good quality strait iron. i suggest the Chi. Its quick and easy and it'll come naurally. You just let the iron do the work.

First, always do it when your hair is dry..

You can do two different techiniques.





The most common way to do this is to put the straightener on a section of your hair, like you would normally do to straighten in. Slide the straightener down the section of hair until you reach the end. you start at the top of your hair (only take a small piece) and flip the botttom part over top of the flat iron. turn your iron over so the hair should be wrapped around the bottom thingy. pull straight away from your head. the slower your go the tighter the curls will be.

Well all you have to do is put the end of your hair in the clutch or whatever type of curler you have and you roll your hair around it. Wait for atleast 30 secs and then you take it out but when you do. don't pull it down you have to like unwrap it.

I have a wider one and I can bend a curl into the ends and I just pull it down the length of my hair and then just curve in when I get to the ends
Is this meant to be a joke?? I didn't know you could curl your hair w/ a flat iron...I thought the whole point of a flat iron was to straighten your hair. Unless you mean curling it either up or under on the ends??? I have trouble w/ this too...my hair is wavy and I can straighten it but not curl it up on the end w/ a flat iron. I would recommend trying a round brush and a hair dryer first...to get it to go the way you want it too...then try using a big curling iron to get it to curl...just stay away from the small curling irons cuz you'll end up w/ little ringlets..which you don't want! start at the top and turn it half way down your hair.


then wrap the hair round it (turning it back up again towards the roots) and hold for a few seconds then simply twirl the strand out in circular motions. It creates gorgeous curls!

but you need to have a little flat iron- try one about an inch thick.





It takes practice, but I can do a head full of ringlets now.





If you still can't get it, then start small. try to flip it out at the ends. once you get the hang of that, move on to curling. if you can't even flip it, you may need to get a different flat iron.

You can only curl you hair with 1'; or less flat iron. Anything wider and it won't work. Is that why? If u have 1' or less iron, then you can curl as you would with a normal barrel iron. Grab at the ends and start rolling up. Voila
It's Pretty hard with a flat one but its like you put the iron at the top of your hair like your going to go down and straighten it, but first you place the iron on the hair,close itm and twist some hair on it as you go down. then you pull harder as you go down and then there you go! It's hard to explain. =l
