I want a flat iron that works well but is cheap that can curl.
And i was wondering how you curl it with a flat iron? I see others like that and i really like it and want to know how to do it. So please can you help me!?How do i do this with a flat iron?
To curl with a flat iron all you really need to do is use it as a curler. The way I do it is I get a section of hair and then starting at the root wrap the hair around the flat iron a few times, and then slowly slide it down the hair while twisting it to create the curl (hopefully that makes sense).
I find tipping the iron on an angle so that it is almost verticle creates the best curl.
Using hair spray before curling each section will help it stay in place, but make sure you clean the flat iron surface afterwards (while it is still a bit warm - be careful not to burn yourself though) to stop build up of the product.
The best flat iron to use is one that is more curved (something like this http://www.tranism.com/weblog/images/chi_flatiron.jpg) but you can achieve the look with almost any type. Obviously you need a larger flat iron for large curls, and a smaller one for small curls, so it depends on the style of curls you want as well.
Good luck! And remember, like everything, it takes practice to get right :)How do i do this with a flat iron?
I don't have any recommendations for a cheap flat iron...I have a chi and while it's expensive it's so worth it! Before I used conair, and for $20 at Wal-Mart, it got the job done. But I couldn't go back now :)
To curl your hair with a flat iron just start at the top of your hair and twist it down your hair, while turning it up vertically. I use my chi to curl my hair all the time...I think it works a lot better than my curling iron. Just play with it!
Hope this helps!
